AORTIC 2011 International Cancer Conference - “Entering the 21st Century for Cancer Control in Africa

Topics covered in the Aortic 2011 conference will be around cutting edge cancer management, basic science and clinical research of cancers relevant to Africa. This includes the following -  Infection related cancers,   Cancer & HIV,  Preventable cancers, Cancer Control Programs, Pathology, Cancer Biology, Palliative Care, Oncology Nursing, Cancer Registries, Tobacco and Cancer, Radiation and chemotherapy in low resource settings, Good clinical practice training, Ethics in Cancer Research, Capacity Building, Research Methodology and updates on site specific cancers.

The conference will consist of a combination of keynote lectures, plenaries, free communications of research performed in Africa and internationally and in-depth workshops to encourage further collaboration. Speakers will be drawn from across the globe representing high quality expertise in the field of oncology.
